How Pluvo Transformed their Revenue Processes with Maple

We have been working closely with Pluvo, a product that offers tools for forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support companies with diverse financial needs, enabling data-driven decision-making through real-time insights and customizable reporting.

As they scaled their deals, Pluvo was looking to optimize their accounts receivables process, across better contract management, invoicing for larger deals, and revenue operations.

Challenge

Pluvo had a stack of software tools for their accounts receivables between Stripe for invoicing and payments, PandaDoc for contracts and spreadsheets for tracking ARR and their larger deals.

As they started closing larger deals, they realized that invoicing on Stripe was costing them percentages of their revenue along with the stacked SaaS fees of multiple tools. ARR tracking on a separate spreadsheet implied that they had to manually keep it up to date as they signed new deals. This meant a lot of leg work as they sent out updates to their investors.

Solution

Recognizing the challenge, Pluvo decided to leverage Maple's automated CPQ with HubSpot, along with contracts, invoicing, dunning and revenue reporting capabilities.

"Maple transformed how we handle revenue operations. From the automation of our QTC process to follow ups on contract signatures and invoice payments, the platform has become an indispensable part of our finance stack."

Vanessa Galarneau – CFO at Pluvo

Results

After implementing Maple, Pluvo saw immediate benefits:

  • Streamlined Quote-to-Cash (QTC): Pluvo set themselves up for the future by deploying Maple as a unified solution that automates their entire contract-based revenue operations such as sending out contracts, getting signatures and collecting on outstanding invoices or retrying failed payments.
  • Reduced Costs: With an automated migration to Maple, Pluvo immediately saved percentage of revenue costs from Stripe for subscription management. They also no longer had stacked software fees for signatures and contract-management.
  • Enhanced Revenue Visibility: With real-time tracking, Pluvo had a clearer view of their revenue metrics, enabling full revenue recognition.

Conclusion

By automating their accounts receivables with Maple, Pluvo was able to streamline their financial operations, reduce manual effort, and gain valuable insights into their revenue.
