How Risotto Streamlined Billing with Maple

We have been working closely with the team at Risotto, an all-in-one platform that integrates with Slack to streamline internal support for IT, HR, and Legal teams. It offers features such as knowledge management, access requests, department routing, and ticket and task management, enabling organizations to automate processes and provide 24/7 assistance to employees.

Challenge

Risotto was looking to improve their operational efficiency of translating deals closed in HubSpot to accurate downstream recurring invoicing for their customers.

They were also concerned about giving away nearly 1.5% in uncapped percentages of their revenue for invoicing, subscription management, tax management and revenue recognition with Stripe, especially when their deals were mostly annual and were largely paid via ACH.

Solution

Recognizing the challenge, Risotto leveraged Maple's Stripe continuous sync mechanism to quickly import their customers into Maple. They also enabled Maple's HubSpot integration to quickly lookup contacts to spin up invoices and subscriptions going forward.
